what should i do about my guitar situation?

I have an Epiphone Les Paul Special 2 but i realize it has it wasnt such a great sound i was expecting and i wanna market it and get a better guitar. My amp is a Frontman 15 watt fender. what do i do.?? if you have a suggesion for a an eleictric guitar about 200 with great sound let me skilled in. i play classic rock. i want to try to sell my guitar and (or) amp to help pay for the new guitar

Maybe try an Ibanez....I similar Telecasters, but they cost more than $200:(
